ISL 2021-22: Bengaluru FC vs Chennaiyin FC Match info & Schdule

The Blues will look to have the same result when they play Chennaiyin FC for the second time this season at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on Wednesday.

Kerala's rearguard excellence with lynchpin for ISL leaders and defensive midfielder Marco Leskovic.

The Kerala Blasters, who have completed 11 matches in the highly-specified Indian Super League schedule, are currently top of the table with 20 points, one point ahead of Jamshedpur FC.  One aspect that makes me wonder is how they maintained their number one position in the league. The Kerala Blasters have lost only once in 11 matches - losing 4-2 to ATK Mohan Bagan on the first day.  In that defeat, the team's criticism was inadequate and could not stop the joy of goals the club had been accustomed to in previous seasons.

Since that first match, Kerala has only allowed one team to score more than one goal in a match - a 2-2 draw against FC Goa.  While most of the team's defensive revival, which has not been able to maintain three consecutive clean sheets since 2014, fell on Marco Leskovic's shoulders, it can be attributed to an Indian name familiar with Kerala's defense.

ISL: Hyderabad FC beat East Bengal 4-0 in Ogbeche's hat-trick.
