ISL 2021-22: Fight against Covid Blasters to return to field tomorrow, team hints today;  Yellowish excitement


Madgaon: Kerala Blasters FC will play in the Indian Super League (ISL 2021-22) tomorrow after a gap of 18 days.  In the twelfth match of the season, Bengaluru FC will face Bengaluru FC.  The Blasters (KBFC) camp are relieved that coach Ivan Vukomanovic has arrived on the field after a 15 - day break.  The Blasters shared a picture of the coach on Twitter yesterday.Coach and Harmanjot Khabra will hold a press conference at 12 noon today.  With the coach's press conference, it is known who will be ready for tomorrow's match from the Blasters team.  The Blasters' matches against Mumbai City and ATK Mohun Bagan have been postponed due to the Kovid outbreak.  The Blasters are currently in third place with 20 points from 11 games.  Hyderabad FC is second with 23 points and Jamshedpur FC is second with 22 points.The team was under surveillance after Kovid affected coach Ivan Vukomanovic and others, including foreign players.  The club had resumed training yesterday after Kovid was threatened.  Today is the Kolkata Derby in the ISL.  ATK Mohan Bagan and East Bengal will meet in Goa at 7.30 pm.  ATK are eighth with 16 points from 10 matches and East Bengal are bottom with 9 points from 13 matches.

Madgaon: Coach Ivan Vukomanovic has questioned whether the Kerala Blasters will have enough players to play in the ISL match against Bengaluru FC on Sunday. The coach made it clear that the team was not ready for further matches in the league and that all the players were in the quarantine and they could not get out of the room until last day.  He added that seven or eight players could be lined up to play kabaddi tomorrow but there are not enough players to play football now.  Vukomanovic made the remarks while addressing the media before tomorrow's match. The Blasters' last two games have been postponed as Covid has affected players and coaches alike.  Vukomanovic said that despite the match against Bangalore on Sunday, not all the players have regained their fitness.


 "In the last 15 days, it was only released yesterday.  The current condition of the rest of the team is unknown.  It is not known whether the team will be able to field against Bengaluru tomorrow, ”he said. "Nobody cares if we're ready to play.  If we have to play we will try to give our 100 percent somehow.  "But we do not know if it's a football match."

Substitute 20-year-old Kian scored a hat-trick;  ATK smashes East Bengal

 Bangalore FC win Indian Super League  Double goal for Udanta Singh

Sunil Chhetri has made history in Indian Super League football by captaining Indian Football and Bangalore FC.  In the match against Goa, Sunil Chhetri became the highest scoring player in the history of the league with a beautiful header. In the 63rd minute of the second half, Chhetri scored with a header from a box by Ebara.  Chhetri also holds the record set by former Goa Spaniard Ferran Coro in the ISL.  But Bartholomew Ogbache, a Hyderabad player who plays in the same league, is third with 44 goals.  Kolkata's Roy Krishna is fourth with 33 goals. This was Sunil Chhetri's first goal of the season.  Chhetri scored his first goal of the season after 11 games.  Bangalore FC have kept the form-playing player on the bench for a number of matches.  Chhetri was included in the starting XI for the first match against Goa in the second half of the league.  At club level, Bengaluru and Mohun Bagan have scored 135 goals in 282 games.  He has scored 90 goals in 191 games for Bengaluru.


Sunil Chhetri is also second in the list of national goals.  Chhetri has scored 80 goals in 125 games for India.  On October 15, 2019, Chhetri became the only Indian to make the top 10 goalscorers in international football.  Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the only player to have scored the most international goals.  Cristiano has scored 115 goals in 184 appearances for Portugal.  Messi has scored 80 goals.

Panaji: Jamshedpur FC finished second in the Indian Super League after defeating Goa FC in today's match.  Jamshedpur won by an unbeaten goal.  Daniel Chima Chukwu scored for Jamshedpur in the 49th minute.  Goa are ninth in the league.  With Jamshedpur coming in second, Kerala Blasters fell to third.  Hyderabad tops the league.
